Food is delcious, lots of options, including healthy options. The fries are really good. The service is always friendly and quick. It can get really packed at lunch time, so plan accordingly.

We did carryout recently and I thought the sandwiches were very nice, huge selection and portion that make for 2 meals. My Chicken Sunshine Wrap, put a little sunshine in my day. In an area that is devoid of anything but airport and fast food, this is a nice option.

Bottom Line: A friendly staff serving delicious deli items for break and lunch at a reasonable price. Aviation Deli & Grill has it going on! Whether you come for breakfast or lunch and whether you get something from the deli or grill, service here is friendly and efficient. For lunch, they offer a long list of sandwiches, wraps and salads. I personally like the Ocean Wave shrimp salad wrap. I also appreciate that they have Coca-Cola fountain soda but if you prefer your caffeine from the bean, they have Green Mountain coffee. Speaking of coffee, breakfast here, like lunch, is reasonably priced and could be very habit forming if Aviation is en route on your morning commute. If you are headed to the airport and taking a long trip, consider stopping by Aviation Deli & Grill for a to-go order. You just might make your fellow passengers envious.

Great lunch option! Squeezed in between Los Portales and Subway. Skip Subway and come here. I ordered the Aloha Chicken Wrap Special (Wednesday Special) which also came with chips (small Utz BAG) and a Drink for about $8. The chicken wrap had real chicken cut into strips. A little too much Russian Dressing but most places put too little so I dealt with the overage on my fingers. Place is clean and quick. They had ample seating. They also had desserts and fruit cups in one of their refrigerated display cases. Definetly trying this place again!

Honestly, I have gone to numerous restaurants that serve turkey burgers and they have always served me disgusting frozen turkey patties and charged me $9.00 for it. If your looking for a homemade burger, this is definitely the place to go. Without a doubt, Aviation Deli & Grill serves fresh turkey burgers and they are delicious. Best part about it is that you can customize your wraps, sandwiches, or burgers however you want. Friendly, fast, efficient, fresh ingredients, clean, what more could you ask for? I am very happy to finally be able to find a place that I can get a fresh turkey burger and execute it so well too. I have gone here about 5 times for lunch since I first discovered this deli and I am happy to say that each time my orders have had the same consistent quality.

Great cheap breakfast place. $6.10 w tax, for 2 eggs, 2 French toast, home fries, and a meat. And it's good. It sure beats eating in a hotel resturant. Note, it is Not located where yelp is currently showing it on the map, it is further south on aviation blvd - next door to a subway.

As a regular customer for 7+ years its clear their food is great. I used to work in an office park very close to here and visited it at least twice a week. A few years ago my company moved offices about 10 miles away and me and other coworkers still go here for lunch a few times a month. They do a great job with office lunches too. Just write down what everybody wants and put their name next to it and fax it over. They will bag it all up with everyone's name so there's no trying to figure out who's is who's. After ordering there for the past year of monthly meetings with ~20 people, they've been 100% accurate on the orders.

If you are have an early flight out of BWI, this is one of the few places open early in the AM to get a decent to-go meal. Of course you have the default option of sucky, overpriced airport food. They open at 6:30AM. Call them and place your order on the way to BWI. I asked for mayo on the side so sandwich would not get soggy. They also separated the pickle to prevent sogginess. Everything was nicely packed and I had real turkey to-go. This is my new #1, place to get a to-go meal when flying out of BWI. The prices are very reasonable also. The person on the phone was friendly and asked what time I would pick up order. My order was ready when I got there. They earn one star for convenience too.

Perfect food every single time. The owner always recognizes us and talks to us every time we come in. The French fries are my favorite!!! I find myself craving to go here like once a week. I usually get the chicken Caesar wrap. It's so good! The portions are really nice too!
(5)Desirae F.
Amazing. All of it. I usually get the mozzarella pesto or the air bus. They are very consistent and very fast. I would eat it every day if I could!

Nice place. Good portions. OK coffee. A terrific spot on the way to the airport and they open early. Will be back I am sure.

Aviation Deli is a fav! My co-workers and I go there nearly every week. The steak sub is delicious. The french fries are the best and the sweet tea is just right. They are quick and the order has never been wrong (although we usually place large orders for pick up).

Tried it for something new, loved it. Very affordable, food was great. About 40 seats inside. Arrived around 11:30, by noon the place was packed.

Every time I'm in the area, I have to stop in... Consistent quality and preparation every time! I recommend "the Aviation" on rye, with the fries and a drink special... The Sweet Tea is excellent, too!

Friendly efficient staff! First thing positive Wide variety of sandwiches and wraps - my favorite Ocean Way - shrimp! They cook own items such ax soups, roasted turkey breast, etc Portions are large and adequate and very reasonable priced Open for breakfast til late afternoon - whether working in the area (I often Do) or catching a plane - a good place to eat

This place is very consistent. The quality, quantity and service is always the same. That is a good thing. Quick service, fair price, good food. I can't complain a bit. I've only had their wraps and sandwiches so I can only speak to that. I go back regularly.

After looking at some of the previous reviews from Yelpers alike, I decided to give this place a try for lunch. Aviation Deli is in the same strip with food places such as Subway and Los Portales. Upon my arrival, I noticed a lot of police cars in the parking lot so I originally thought, "something must have happened." Come to find out, they're all eating at Aviation Deli & Grill. I'll tell you one thing: The customer service and food delivery at Aviation Deli & Grill is incredible. I ordered the Maximus sandwich (Grill Turkey & Roast Beef, melted Provolone & Swiss Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, and Mustard on a Kaiser Roll) and it was ready to go in less than five minutes. The Maximus sandwich was pretty good; I wish that the turkey was cut a little thinner instead of the chunks they serve, but I still like that way the sandwich came out. I ordered the Maximus sandwich as a special that they had that day which came with a bag of chips and a 20 oz fountain drink for $7.90. Price of the sandwich alone would be $5.75. I'm going to come back to try out some other sandwiches that are made here. This might be my new lunch hangout. NOTE: They only serve breakfast and lunch, so plan accordingly.

This place is great if it's convenient, but don't go out of your way if it's not. They get very crowded at lunch, but manage to handle everyone as quick as you could possibly ask. (You can call in your order if you want and save time.) The food varies from fine to good--I love their turkey, which is sliced actual turkey breast. The staff is very personable and likeable. The prices are slightly high. One reviewer claims that most of the sandwiches come on white bread, but there are several bread options covering most of what you could expect from some random deli.

I go here a few times a month for lunch during the work week. The subs are good sized and their sandwiches are a good size too. They have daily specials and platters. I like the open faced turkey on bread with gravy platter and the open faced roast beef on bread with gravy. Both are served with a huge portion of fries. Get a soda of your choice and wash it all down with. The space is limited so if you are planning to sit and eat with more than one other person don't be disappointed if you end up having to just take your order to go. This place is definitely better than your average sandwich shop.

Good breakfasts and lunch

Yum! For a quick stop on your lunch break this is a great choice by the BWI Airport. Quick and friendly service. It gets busy around lunch time. You can eat inside as they have a few tables, but people standing around waiting for their order makes that less desirable than just grabbing your food and going. My go to was usually the turkey burger and fries. The crinkle cut fries are a tad greasy but so good! They have a ton of sandwiches and drink choices as well.
(4)Jennifer H.
This place is always my first pick for lunch when I want a good sandwich or wrap. I hate crinkle cut french fries, but I LOVE THEIRS!!! Their onion rings are really good too. I can't come here and not leave without having an order of french fries or onion rings to go along with my sandwich or wrap. What's even worse is that because all the food that I've tried here is so good, it's hard for me to decide on what to eat. The people there are extremely friendly and service has always been fast, even on the days when the line is out the door! Very convenient, nice little area near the airport. For the portions, the prices aren't bad at all. I always stop by when I get a chance. Definitely one of my favorite spots for lunch!!!

They have a sandwich called the Airbus. It's packed at lunch and is a great change from Quiznos or Subway. It's also cheap ($5.75 - 6.75 for a sandwich).
(3)Stephanie B.
I go here pretty frequently for lunch since it's really close to work. I haven't had anything I dislike; although, I like their hot sandwiches a lot more. I would particularly recommend The Texas and The Gyro, sooo delicious. Oh, and they have Redbull and brownies, what more would you want in life? (There's actually several desserts offered, but I never made it past the brownies...)
(5)Jonathan G.
This place seems to be very crowded during lunch, but then, you realize that's because it doesn't have much competition. They use low-quality ingredients (most of their sandwiches come on white bread), and anything that comes off the grill is swimming in grease. For a place like this, you'd assume it'd at least be cheap - but it's slightly overpriced for a deli. Avoid this and drive to a Squisito's instead.

Awesome sammies. I've had the New Yorker and ordered the cheese steak today. Great prices listen intently for your order. The Asian lady yells out your order and she has an intense accent. Hey at least she is speaking english. Love this place. Great food great prices. Down the street is a used ski/snowboard shop!!

This place is AMAZING! Everyone I bring here falls in love with it. I would say it is a MUST try.

This is a great place to go for lunch- I work right down the road from them and my coworkers and I always order lunch from them. It does tend to get pretty busy at lunchtime, so you may want to call ahead if you have a large order. The staff is friendly and very helpful to recommend favorites if you have never ordered from them before. I LOVE their wraps, i think i have tried almost every single one haha! My favorite is the Californian: the avocado goes well with the thousand island dressing, as strange as it sounds. My favorite of all favorites has got to be the Chicken Cheesesteak- I put provolone cheese, mayo, tomato, and mushrooms on mine, but you can pick your toppings and they don't charge extra for fried onions or mushrooms etc... Best chicken cheesesteak ever! I have seriously searched high and low to find another one as good and I can't find any contenders. They also have soups and salads and all kinds of side orders to choose from. Their fries are always done just right, perfectly crispy and one order is almost too much for one person to eat alone. They also have the best MD crab soup EVER! Their soup specials change from day to day, I think this one is available on Fridays. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
